Jennifer is Julia’s sister and though they have been each others enemy and best friend over the years, they are each others ride or die. Jennifer is a woman of many interests. She works for a mental healthy company and spends her free time working out, carrying for her plants, hanging with her pups, and binge watching reality TV. Jennifer has always been the more “girly” of the two so her insight into wedding ideas has been very helpful.
Emily Woods
Best Man
Emily “Woodsy Morgan” Woods is Kevin’s sister and best friend. Since childhood they have had their own language together. Where Kevin took to drawing, Emily took to performance. She recently graduated from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts with her MFA in Classical Acting: Performance and Practice. They both caught up at her graduation and birthday in October and it was like no time had passed.
Kimberly Owen
Bridesmaid
Kimberly and Julia go away back! They first met in 4th grade where they became instant friends who played Sims together on the home computer. Then, after years of distance, they reconnected in college when they were both working summer jobs at the Corning Museum of Glass. Since then, they have been the best of friends and shared many adventures, laughs, heartaches and memories together. If Kimberly ever took Julia up on her proposal of marriage, we would be celebrating their nuptials today instead!
Laurie Sever
Groomsmaid
Kevin & Laurie met at Savannah College of Art and Design, and got along quickly talking about NJ landmarks and pizza. Laurie and Catherine were college roommates. With Kevin, they all became travel buddies. They made theme park and sightseeing trips through college and beyond. Laurie and Kevin both found work with Fisher-Price and were roommates in the Buffalo area.
Alexandra Aroyo
Bridesmaid
Alex and Julia met in Art History Club at the Savannah College of Art and Design. One of Julia’s earliest memories of hanging out with Alex was taking her minivan to go see The Great Gatsby with the rest of the club. Since then, they have stayed in touch across states and sometimes countries. Now, they are only a drive up the coast from each other and it is great to meet up for lunch during Alex’s trips up to Maine.
Catherine Bobalek

Kevin & Catherine met at Savannah College of Art and Design, and were thrilled to learn that her family lived close to his grandparents in Virginia. It added an extra friend to catchup with whenever visiting the area. Catherine and Laurie were college roommates. With Kevin, they all became travel buddies. They made theme park and sightseeing trips through college and beyond.
Kyleigh Verbanic
Flower Girl
Kyleigh is the absolute true love of Julia’s life. They first adopted each other when Julia was in high school and they have been inseparable since. Kyleigh has been to college in Savannah, got her Masters in Buffalo, and is now enjoying her golden years in New Hampshire. Although she typically doesn’t like anyone who is not Julia, she has come to accept Kevin as “sometimes tolerable”.
Wendell Verbanic-Woods
Ringbearer
Wendell came into Julia and Kevin’s lives suddenly and as a great delight. Since he is a rescue, his background is a bit murky but he works hard to be the most good boy he can be. Wendell adores Kyleigh and has been working very hard on his manners, as he takes his job as ringbearer very seriously.
Christianna Friedrichsen

Christianna and Julia were originally introduced to each other by Kimberly. The three of them gathered for the first time to go see La La Land in theater and the rest, as they say, in history. Christianna and Julia have bonded over their shared loved of horror and queer culture. When Christianna started officiating weddings, Julia never thought she would need Christi’s services. Now she’s lucky to have them here!
